Pimchanok identified a growing appetite for Korean-style skincare across Southeast Asia, but importing from Korea was expensive and slow. Her idea: create a K-beauty-inspired line manufactured locally in China and distributed across ASEAN.

The challenge was translating Korean beauty trends — glass skin serums, snail mucin essences, cushion foundations — into formulations that worked in Thailand's hot, humid climate while meeting ASEAN Cosmetic Directive requirements.

Skincraftlab's R&D team had extensive experience with K-beauty formulation techniques. They developed 10 products including a lightweight glass skin serum, propolis toner, Centella asiatica soothing gel, and multi-peptide eye cream. Each was tested for stability at 35°C and 80% humidity.

ASEAN compliance documentation was prepared for all 10 SKUs, enabling distribution across Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines without additional regulatory work.

Seoul Glow Thailand launched in Bangkok with 10 SKUs. Within 6 months, they had distribution partners in 4 ASEAN countries and monthly revenue exceeding $60,000. The brand's K-beauty positioning, combined with climate-optimized formulations, became their key differentiator.
